Workplace Grief & Loss Managment

Guiding Organizations Through Layoffs and Loss: Providing Support for Employees During Difficult Times

In an ever-changing business landscape, layoffs and bereavement are unfortunately a part of our reality. Navigating these challenging times in the workplace requires empathy, understanding, and strategic planning. At CMHC, we provide the tools and resources necessary to support organizations and their employees through periods of layoffs and personal loss.

Our comprehensive approach includes:

  1. Grief Counseling and Support Groups: We provide professional grief counseling and facilitate support groups for employees directly affected by layoffs or the death of a coworker. These services offer a safe space for individuals to share their experiences, process their emotions, and find comfort in connecting with others going through similar situations.

  2. Manager and Supervisor Training: Our specialized training equips managers and supervisors with the skills and knowledge needed to support their teams during times of grief and loss. We provide guidance on how to create a supportive work environment, communicate with compassion, and promote emotional well-being among team members.

  3. Organizational Change Management: We offer expert advice and strategies for managing the impact of layoffs and bereavement on your organization. This includes addressing the emotional well-being of remaining employees, helping teams navigate the transition, and fostering a culture of resilience.

  4. Educational Resources and Workshops: Our informative resources and workshops educate employees on the grieving process, self-care strategies, and ways to support their colleagues during challenging times.

By investing in our Compassionate Support for Grief & Loss services, your organization demonstrates a genuine commitment to employee well-being, fostering a supportive and empathetic work environment where employees can heal and thrive.
