Providing her clients with a space to safely explore their thoughts, feelings, and needs is at the forefront of every session with Ally, LGPC. After earning her Master’s degree in mental health counseling from the University of Texas at El Paso, Ally moved to Maryland to pursue her passion for nature-based therapies. A belief in the transformational experiences that nature can provide and the innately spiritual human-nature bond are the bedrock for healing in her work. She assists individuals in developing a deeper connection with themselves, empowering them with knowledge and curiosity, and equipping them with tools suited to their needs. Through an eclectic and holistic approach, she helps her clients become rooted in self-understanding, awareness and compassion. She is also a registered yoga teacher, providing a somatic foundation in movement and mindfulness. In her down time, Ally can be found enjoying the outdoors, doing yoga, or curled up with a good book and one (or several) of her cats.
