Faith Based & Pastoral Counseling
According to The American Association of Pastoral Counselors, Pastoral Counseling is a unique form of psychotherapy which uses spiritual sources as well as psychological understanding for healing and growth. CMHC is proud to have several therapists on board who received their degree from Loyola University's pastoral counseling department. This degree helps therapists to incorporate a client's spirituality and/or faith tradition into the counseling experience. If you would like to invite your faith or spiritual belief system to be part of your counseling journey, please let our intake team know.
